composing - composition

I was thinking about my words of yesterday.

I know that 'composition' is the strictly accurate word for what I do. I tried to write it once or twice, but I couldn't.

Why?

Because 'composition' seems something fixed, everything known, catalogued and planned in advance of the birth. And composing is happening now, changing when it has to, living and in this moment.

I'm a composer. I do composing.

I couldn't lie to you, you see.
